Free here means the term on the composition has ended, so the title and a chord sketch can sit on a static page. It does not mean every recording you have heard is free to copy.
Open any title. Play the pad. If the key fights your voice, move the key chip. The address of the song does not change.
Amazing Grace is the usual first tap. Three chords, a slow three, and a melody most rooms already know. Stay on G until the last line.
Silent Night is also in three, even quieter. It is a good late-evening page when you want few letters and a long breath.
Ode to Joy is a short classical line that still plays like a folk tune on the pad. Use it when you want a major walk that is not a hymn.
Auld Lang Syne comes out at the turn of the year, but it is a small chart any month. When the Saints Go Marching In marches. Both reward a steady right hand.
Swing Low, Sweet Chariot sits in a spiritual pocket. Oh Susanna and Camptown Races are quicker. If the changes feel busy, halve the tempo and keep the words in your head, not on the screen.
Home on the Range is wide and open. Yankee Doodle is short and clipped. Play them on neighbouring days so your hand learns two folk moods, not one.
Do not try all ten in one night. Pick one hymn, one folk page, and one carol. Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls can wait for December if you want a season, or you can play them in July. The charts do not care.
